About Gromit

Wallace and Gromit are gentle seniors who take life at a relaxed pace. Gromit delights in simple pleasures—lounging around, soaking up affection, and following his people for a soft pat or a kind word. Found as strays in Providence, Gromit arrived with matted fur and a need for care, but a grooming session uncovered a sweet, affectionate spirit. He isn’t bonded to Wallace, though they can go home together or separately. With a laid-back temperament, Gromit should do well in most homes, even without previous experience with children or cats. He’s not yet house trained, but he’s learning the basics in foster care. Gromit does need some ongoing attention: he has dental disease, for which he comes with a $300 voucher to help with vet care, and a heart murmur that will require monitoring. He’ll also need regular grooming to prevent matting. Right now, Gromit is unwinding in a foster home and enjoying some long-overdue TLC. Your new best friend is just one click away.
