Meet Tux & Onyx — A Sweet, Snuggly Sibling Duo Tux and Onyx are a wonderful bonded pair of five-year-old siblings looking for a loving home together. These two are incredibly friendly, affectionate, and easygoing cats who truly enjoy the simple things in life — cozy naps, gentle cuddles, and being near their people. Tux is a handsome tuxedo boy with a charming personality, while his sister Onyx is a sleek, beautiful black cat with a sweet and playful spirit. They have spent their entire lives together and share a special bond that makes them such a joy to watch. Because they’ve spent their whole lives side by side, Tux and Onyx are deeply bonded and must be adopted together. Tux is the cuddler of the duo. If you’re sitting on the couch, there’s a very good chance he’ll decide your lap is the best seat in the house. He loves being close to his people and will happily snuggle in for quality couch time. Tux also has a big love for food — he always seems hungry — but he’s currently doing great on his diet and taking it like a champ. Onyx takes a little longer to warm up, but once she does, she enjoys being near her people too. She absolutely loves treats (Temptations are her weakness!) and has a playful side that really shines when toys come out. Wand toys — especially a stick with a fish on it — are her favorite, and she gets extra excited chasing and catching them. Onyx also loves being up high and will happily claim the tallest perch in the room to supervise everything going on below. Both cats enjoy finding cozy hiding spots around the house — Tux especially loves sleeping in the closet — and they’re perfectly content lounging, exploring, or playing together. They are well-behaved, low-energy companions who would thrive in a calm home where they can relax and receive plenty of affection. They have lived with children and are known to be very patient and gentle with little ones. They have never been around dogs. Originally rescued as kittens in Arkansas, they have spent most of their lives in Texas and are now hoping to find a forever home where they can continue their journey together.
