AvailableRosa is a medium-sized, female pit bull terrier mix living in Louisville, KY. She is an adult and has been spayed, and her vaccinations are up to date. While she isn't house-trained yet, Rosa is steadily making progress as she adjusts to her new life.
About Rosa
Rosa is a petite, playful "pocket pittie" with a knack for overcoming obstacles—literally and figuratively. While she can be a bit shy and nervous around loud noises, she's been making big strides as she settles into the comforts of her foster home. Rosa lives for playtime with her dog friends, sneaking in the occasional zoomie that always features her own twist: finding things to hurdle. Her resilience shines, shaped by a tough start when she was found pregnant on the street and bravely mothered her litter in the safety of rescue. Now about a year old, Rosa's learning to enjoy life, from catching water from a hose to crash-worthy couch naps, and she quickly wins hearts wherever she goes. She isn't house-trained quite yet, but she's making good progress and is trustworthy in the home. Rosa gets along well with other dogs and absolutely adores kids. At night, she's happiest curled up in bed, snoring softly beside her people. Picture a loyal, loving companion with just the right blend of goofy energy and gentle sweetness—Rosa really does deserve her own forever, after giving so much to her puppies.
