About Harleen
Meet Harleen: Your Future Professional Snuggler Harleen is a 6-month-old 24-lbs mixed breed bundle of velvet ears and pure affection. If you've been looking for a shadow that gives kisses, you've found your boy! He's got the typical "puppy energy meets nap enthusiast" personality and is a social, sweet, "Velcro" buddy. He's excellent with cats and other dogs too. Harleen doesn't just "like" attention; he lives for it. He's the type of pup who will rest his chin on your knee the second you sit down. Because he gets along so well with other dogs and cats, he's the perfect candidate for a multi-pet household. Whether it's a game of chase with a canine sibling or a respectful sniff-and-snooze with a feline friend, Harleen is a true team player. Every diamond has a little "rough" around the edges! Harleen is still mastering the art of potty training and would love a home with someone who understands that accidents are just part of the journey. He will need a steady routine to help him learn where the "restroom" is. And of course, he will require plenty of positive reinforcement (and maybe a few treats) when he gets it right. Is your lap looking a little empty? Harleen is ready to fill it! He's looking for a forever home where he can grow, learn, and spend the rest of his days being the "goodest boy." Harleen is being fostered in Staten Island, NY and his adoption fee is $500. "To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal."
