About Clover

Meet our absolutely adorable little Clover! This approximately 2-year-old 12 lb Jack/Rat TerrierDachshund mix may be a bit shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and patience and you'll discover her wonderfully sweet, smart and spunky personality. Once she trusts you, she becomes a loyal little companion who loves being near her people but also has an independent side as well.

She's a smart girl who is house trained and crate trained, and she walks very nicely on a leash. While she enjoys her walks after being comfortable in her new surroundings, she would absolutely love a home with a fenced yard where she can safely explore and stretch her little legs.

One of her best qualities is her calm natureshe's not a big barker and tends to be a quiet presence in the home. She does well with other dogs and could happily live with a canine companion, but she would also be perfectly content as the only dog soaking up all the love.

Because she can be a bit timid, she would thrive best in a quiet, lower-activity home with patient adopters who will give her the time she needs to settle in and blossom. Once she feels safe, her playful terrier spirit and affectionate side really shine.

She is not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home will be important for her success.

If you're looking for a gentle, loving little companion who will reward your patience with loyalty, sweetness, and a dash of terrier spunk, this precious girl might just be your perfect match.
If you're interested in one of our dogs or would like help finding the perfect match please submit an application. https://forgoodrescue.net/dog-adoption/ We will not discuss details regarding any particular dog if you have not yet applied to adopt.
