Rosie was surrendered due to landlord issues and is now looking for a new place to call home. This sweet girl has a loving personality and enjoys spending time with her people. Rosie does well with other dogs as long as they are respectful toward her. She does resource guard her food from other animals, so feeding separately is recommended. She has done well with cats and has even been exposed to horses, goats, cattle, and sheep. She is housebroken, crate trained, and does well when left alone-though she may help herself to shoes or belts if they're left on the floor! Rosie does well during grooming and rides okay in the car. Like many enthusiastic pups, Rosie pulls pretty hard on a leash and will need some continued training. She can also be a bit "paw-sy" and sometimes forgets her size, occasionally bumping into people when she gets excited. Rosie is also known to investigate trash cans and may try to door dart when someone is leaving, so a little extra attention and training will help set her up for success. Rosie is fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. She is pending a microchip, spay, and dewormer.
