Meet Knight! Knight is a sweet, sensitive pup with a playful side who is looking for a patient family to help him shine. He came to us after being surrendered by a family who loved him but unfortunately no longer had the means to care for him, and now he's ready for a fresh start with a forever family who can give him the stability he deserves. At first, Knight can be a little shy and may take some time to warm up to new people and environments. But once he feels safe and comfortable, his affectionate personality really begins to blossom, and you'll see just how loving and fun he truly is. Knight has a wonderful balance of energy. He enjoys playtime and interactive moments with his people, but he's not over-the-top energetic. Whether it's playing with toys, exploring on walks, or relaxing nearby after a fun day, Knight is happiest just being part of the family. He's also a smart boy who already knows "sit" and responds well to training. Knight is both food motivated and affection motivated, which makes continuing his training a fun and rewarding experience. He takes corrections well and wants to please his people. He also has a soft mouth, making him gentle during play and when taking treats. Knight is housetrained and does well with both dogs and cats, making him a great candidate for a multi-pet household. Because he can be a little shy at first, a family willing to give him time to settle in and build trust will help him thrive. Once he feels comfortable, Knight shows his playful, loving nature and becomes a wonderful companion. With patience, kindness, and a little encouragement, Knight will reward his new family with loyalty, fun, and lots of love.
