Join us at Merriam Petsmart and meet your perfect match. We’ll have DOGS, PUPPIES & KITTIES ready to steal your heart! SATURDAY, MARCH 14 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT AT the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes! ——————— BRIBBLES is a super sweet 2 year old Pit Bull mix. He is submissive and affectionate and he loves attention. Bribbles is also good with other dogs. He weighs 48 lbs. Sadly, Bribbles tested positive for heartworms. But please don’t let this scare you away! We just need to get him into a home during his treatment. The cost for the heartworm treatment is completely covered. We can provide you with more info about his heartworm treatment if you are interested in adopting or fostering him (we’d love to find him a foster home!). Once his treatment plan is completed, Bribbles will be able to live a normal healthy life with no restrictions! ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
