About Nugget
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Nugget, a laid-back 7-year-old boy searching for a loving home. Previously, Nugget enjoyed basking in the sun by the door and cuddling with his people. He was sadly surrendered due to his owner's relocation—not for any fault of his own. Now, Nugget is ready for a new adventure in a forever home where he can feel safe and adored. Nugget truly shines when playing with toys and is known for his impressive treat-catching skills. While he can be fearful of some men, this doesn't apply to everyone, and with gentle support, he continues to make progress. Nugget is currently practicing his manners around other dogs, so he may do best as the only pet, but the rescue is open to meet-and-greets with potential canine siblings to see if they're a match. All Nugget needs is a sunny spot, a comfy couch, and a loving person to call his own. Fun fact: Nugget's birthday makes him a Taurus—these pups are known for their loyal and affectionate nature!
