But after some fresh air, I’m more than happy to curl up on the couch or a cozy dog bed for some snuggles. I’m also a big fan of food and treats—yum! Because I get so excited about mealtime, a slow feeder helps me remember to eat like a proper lady instead of gobbling everything down too quickly. I already know how to sit (even with a hand signal!), and my foster momma is helping me learn things like stay and wait. On walks I do pretty well, though I’m still deciding which side I like best. I love saying hello to friendly people we pass along the way. Around the house, I’m a very easygoing girl. I’m house-trained and will stand by the door to let you know when I need to go outside. I’ve also proven to be very trustworthy—I can stay home with the other dogs while my foster momma is out for several hours without any accidents. I’m gentle when it comes to my food, toys, and being handled. You can pet me, rub my belly, touch my paws, or even check my ears, and I’m perfectly happy about it. I enjoy attention and affection and will gladly soak up all the pets you’re willing to give. I also enjoy car rides and get excited when it’s time to go on an adventure, though I might need a little boost getting into taller vehicles. One of the things my foster momma loves most about me is how curious and affectionate I am. I’m always watching what she's doing, quietly keeping her company, and happily accepting cuddles whenever they’re offered.
