Once he feels safe, Pete quickly becomes affectionate, loyal, and eager to please. He craves attention from his favorite humans, sometimes growling at other dogs vying for affection, but responds well to gentle correction and has started learning to share. Pete is house trained and crate trained. He's comfortable with most other dogs and does especially well with smaller ones, but would also enjoy being the only pet. He did great when tested around cats. Pete needs a home without small children; he values having space and doesnāt do well with little ones who may not understand boundaries. Heās active, playful, and bright, but has a sensitive and loving side, too.
