Shadow is a handsome Husky mix with a wagging tail and a big personality to match! This social boy loves spending time with people and is always excited to make new friends. If you sit down on the couch, don't be surprised if Shadow hops right up to join you-he's a big fan of cuddling and soaking up all the pets and attention he can get. Shadow's tail is almost always wagging, especially when he's getting belly rubs (one of his absolute favorite things!). He's a happy, affectionate dog who enjoys being close to his people and would love a home where he can relax, play, and be part of the family. Like many active pups, Shadow enjoys chewing on his toys, so having plenty of fun and durable toys around will help keep him busy and happy. Enrichment and playtime will go a long way in helping this smart boy stay entertained. Shadow would do best in a home with teens or older. He can get a little grumbly if someone touches his food or if another dog tries to take it, but don't worry-our team will happily work with his adopters to create a plan that sets everyone up for success and helps Shadow feel comfortable and secure. Shadow has shown interest in meeting other dogs, but we do require meet-and-greets with any resident dogs in the home before adoption to make sure everyone gets along. You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter.
