Hi... my name is Amari, and this is the story of me and my seven babies. Before we came to Big Dog Ranch Rescue, life was very scary. We were living in a house with many other dogs. It was crowded, confusing, and we didn't understand what was happening around us. When people finally came to help, my babies and I were hiding in a closet. We were the last ones left in the house. I was so afraid and didn't know what would happen to us next. Everything changed the day we arrived at Big Dog Ranch. At first, I was still very scared. I didn't trust the humans, and it took time before they could even touch me or help care for my babies. But the people here were patient and kind. Day by day, they showed us love, gentle voices, warm beds, and full bowls. Slowly, I began to understand that we were safe. Now my seven little pups are growing, playing, and learning that the world can be a happy place. Because of the second chance Big Dog Ranch gave us, they are now ready to move forward and start their own new lives with loving families. As for me, I'm still learning that humans can be good. I need a little more time to build my confidence and trust, but every day I get a little braver. My babies are ready for their forever homes, and soon... I will be too.
