About Comet
Just like the spark in the sky she's named after, spotting Comet is something special. In folklore, seeing a comet is said to be a sign of wonder, hope and new beginnings and this little girl is ready to bring all three into someone's life. Comet is a young kitty who isn't even a year old yet. She was born outside to a feral mom, but thanks to a dedicated local grassroots rescue, she was safely brought in and given a chance at a better life. Comet spent time in a loving foster home learning that humans can be kind, cozy couches are amazing and gentle pets are the best thing ever. She was adopted into what was hoped would be her forever home, but sadly the family had severe allergies and could not keep her. Wanting the best for her, her original rescuer reached out to ARF so Comet would have a safe place to stay while she waits for her true forever home. Comet is as charming as her name suggests. She has the longest, most delicate whiskers, soft light peridot-colored eyes that seem to glow and the pinkest little nose you've ever seen. She's sweet, curious and full of affection once she feels comfortable. Now Comet is patiently waiting at ARF for the moment her forever family walks through the door. Maybe that family is you. After all, how often do you get the chance to catch a comet and make a little magic part of your everyday life? The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
