About Skippee
Meet Skippee Skippee is just skipping by to say... adopt me! This tiny little 9-year-old Toy Poodle weighs about 6 pounds and is searching for a cozy lap where she can spend her golden years being loved and spoiled. Skippee may be small, but she has a big personality. She confidently bosses around dogs ten times her size and carries herself like the queen of the house — because in her mind, she absolutely is! Because Skippee is a senior girl, she does have a few special quirks. She has no teeth and her hearing only works some of the time, so she will do best in a quiet, patient home where she can feel safe and comfortable. Despite these challenges, Skippee is full of spirit and enjoys being close to her people. Skippee is crate trained and mostly housebroken, and she will also use potty pads when the weather is cold. Because of her very small size and limited hearing, she does not require a fenced yard, but she will need supervision when outdoors. Like all poodles, Skippee will need regular grooming and spa days to keep her curly coat healthy and comfortable. She currently eats softened dry food mixed with canned food so it's easier for her to enjoy her meals. Skippee would do best in a home with no young children and with calm dogs that don't mind being politely ruled by a tiny diva. All Skippee wants is what every dog deserves — a safe, loving home and a family to call her own.
