Rufus is a 1ish year old mix. A mix of what? Well, take a guess! He weighs less than 25 lbs and doesn't seem to mind other dogs. He doesn't like you to take his toys or get too close to his food. Rufus was surrendered to the shelter when his owners decided that was easier than working with his issues. He is rescue only due to his resource guarding. He's never bitten anyone but he has growled. He is crate trained and mostly house broke. Currently he's not crazy about the staff putting a leash over his head but is calming down. His best home has a fenced yard and no small children. He would thrive in an experienced home that is willing to take him to training.
