Currently, Charlie is on a gentle journey of learning to trust and, under the care of his rescue team, has been making steady and heartwarming progress. New situations can make Charlie a bit nervous, but with the right blend of patience and kindness, you’ll see him begin to shine as his confidence grows. Charlie is discovering that the world isn’t such a scary place, and he’s learning that life as a dog can actually be a lot of fun! One of the most helpful things in Charlie’s journey has been having a confident canine friend by his side, which is why he’d love to have a trustworthy dog buddy in his future home. Another dog will help Charlie build confidence, show him the ropes, and reassure him that life is meant to be enjoyed. Charlie and his buddy Larry have become fast friends at the rescue, with Larry taking on the role of mentor by always joining Charlie for morning walks. This friendship has truly helped Charlie blossom and seeing him grow has been a joy for everyone involved. Charlie is searching for a patient, understanding home that will celebrate the little victories and offer him the time he needs to bloom. In return, you’ll experience the reward of watching a shy pup flourish into a happy, trusting companion. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
