About June Bug Southern

Meet the Paws and Claws Southern Belle Sisters! June Bug is excited to make her grand entrance! June and her sisters have been spayed, vetted, microchipped, and have received a clean bill of health from our vet. This girl is ready to be the next *belle of the ball* at her very own permanent address ! Please read on for her story, and for instructions on how to request an application for her! Here is what we know about JUNE BUG: - June and her sisters are about 12 weeks old now, and weigh around 12lbs or so. - June and her sisters are black lab mixes - foster mom thinks they may have some beagle in them (or perhaps some other hound) but as rescue pups we truly never know what may be mixed in to create these lovely ladies. We expect all of the girls to be on the medium to large size when full grown, likely around 50-60lbs or so as an estimate. - June and her siblings were rescued by foster mom from a Walmart parking lot where they were being given away by owners who had an unwanted litter of pups. Since then, the pups have been receiving lots of TLC as they grow. June is a happy, healthy, and rambunctious pup who will need a family up to the fun challenges of puppyhood! - June is very smart but is very much still a puppy so she will need lots of training and reinforcements to learn proper doggy manners and behavior when she gets to her forever home. Foster mom reports that she is already doing really well with housebreaking, and is smart as a whip. - June is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has received a clean bill of health. - June currently lives happily in her foster home with other dogs and gets along just fine with them. We think she would do fine as an only dog or with a playmate who could handle some puppy playtime! - There are also cats in June's foster home, and she co-habits well with them. Any dog savvy cats who wouldn't be scared of her size or puppy antics should be fine! - June would make a great family dog for kids 5+. She would love to grow up with a family of her own. She is fun and playful, but any young children would need to know how to respect doggy boundaries, especially while she is still a puppy. What we love about June Bug: She loves to be held like a baby! Is June Bug the one for you? If so, she's got her doggie bags packed and is ready to make her way home to you! Her adoption fee is $375! That covers all of her vetting and care up until the point of adoption. If interested, please reach out to Brittany at Brittany.pacne@gmail.com and she will break down the adoption process for you and send you an application link! *Paws & Claws New England, a/k/a Paws and Claws Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization made up of volunteers and fosters who devote their time and love to help save homeless dogs and cats.
