Hi, I'm Foxy, a tiny Chihuahua girl with a big story. People describe me as timid, playful, and calm. My favorite things are playing with dogs my size, curling up for long naps, and hiding under the bed when I feel unsure. I came from a neighborhood in La Paz, where I was searching through trash for food. I was covered in ticks and fleas, very thin, and dehydrated. Life was hard, and because of that, it still takes me time to feel safe in new places or with new people. My ideal home has a yard where I can sunbathe, patient humans who take me for gentle walks, and lots of toys. I need to be treated like a true family member. A home without space to play or where I'm left outside would not be right for me. I'm small, sensitive, and ready to finally feel loved. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.
