About Duchess
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Duchess, a sweet and resilient adult female Whippet/Border Collie mix who is looking for a caring and stable forever home. At around three to four years old, Duchess has overcome a difficult past marked by injuries as a puppy that left her shy and initially underweight. Now, after receiving loving care and necessary dental procedures, she is healthy, happy, and full of playful spirit. Duchess is friendly with both dogs and cats and is fully house trained. She enjoys going for walks and would thrive in a household with a secure yard and an adopter who is active and can include her in regular walks or hikes. While affectionate, she prefers not to be picked up and would be happiest in a quiet home without children under eight, as loud noises and unpredictable activity can make her nervous. Duchess is an ideal companion for an adult household, whether you have other pets or she’s your only furry friend. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations, eagerly waiting to find the right person to give her the love and stability she deserves. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
