About Buddy Bear
Buddy Bear’s family never thought they’d have to rehome him, but life got tough: his brother moved overseas for work, and his parents can no longer keep up with his needs. He’s a five-year-old Black Labrador Retriever mix, lively but past that wild, puppy phase. He still looks forward to daily exercise and mental stimulation—he’ll expect an active routine. Underneath the energy, Buddy Bear is a major cuddler and loves his creature comforts, whether sprawled on a cozy bed or snuggled on the couch. Loyalty comes naturally to him, and he carries himself with a protective streak and a good dose of goofiness. Buddy Bear generally gets along with other dogs, particularly those who are confident and non-dominant. However, he does have a prey drive, so living with cats or small animals isn’t a great match for him. He’s looking for a home where he can settle in, be comfortable, and soak up plenty of affection. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
