Calling all Mastiff lovers!!!!!!!! Do you have experience with large breed, powerful dogs?? Bane is a large breed dog who sometimes forgets his size!! He loves playing with toys - especially tennis balls - and enjoys hanging out with his people. He has been having a great time romping around in the snow and thinks chewing ice is a really fun game! It will take a bit of time for Bane to acclimate to his new home and he will need a consistent routine to help with his house training. He could benefit from training classes to help his become his best self! Like many dogs of his breed, Bane does have a very powerful bark. He will let you know when someone is approaching whether at home or on a walk. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available dogs in the shelter. (Dogs in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you're ready to adopt without meeting the dog first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a dog for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org.
