Misty
AvailableMisty is a medium-sized, 10-and-a-half-year-old female mixed-breed (Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier) dog living in Camarillo, CA. She has a short coat, is spayed, house trained, and vaccinated. Misty has a gentle nature and, despite her age, remains affectionate and friendly with other dogs. She lives with osteoarthritis, so a quiet home without children is ideal.
About Misty
Misty is a survivor through and through. She’s overcome more than most dogs—shot with a BB gun, beat cancer, and battled a two-month-long case of pneumonia. Even with arthritis slowing her down, Misty is all warmth and resilience. This 10-year-old medium-sized Pittie/Staffie mix is the epitome of easygoing: she bonds deeply, thrives on being by your side, and takes treats like a proper lady. She loves her people, connects fast, and never turns down affection. Adventures in the car are her jam, but for daily life, she just appreciates having someone around. Misty is friendly with other dogs, especially calm, gentle companions. She’s also perfectly content as your one-and-only, so long as she gets lots of cuddles and company. With her arthritis, she’s not looking for walks—access to a yard or bit of outdoor space suits her just fine. She’s spayed, up to date on shots, house trained, crate trained, sleeps through the night, and simply wants a soft place to land. Misty needs an adult home with no kids (her arthritis deserves respect) and would thrive with someone home much of the day, like a retiree or remote worker. Her foster covers costs while she’s in care. Misty is currently in Camarillo, CA and looking for her forever home. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
