About Rose
Rose came into foster care at only six weeks old with severe eye infections, and though she is now completely blind, her independence stands out. At six months, she’s adapted remarkably well—navigating her world with confidence. She’s the sole survivor of her litter, and her closest companion has been Bud, another resilient kitten who lost an eye but not her spirit; the two girls have been inseparable. For Rose, the ideal home includes either Bud or another friendly cat. She especially flourishes in environments with older children where routines don’t shift much, offering her stability and comfort. Despite blindness, Rose uses her other senses smartly and enjoys gentle affection from people. She’s house trained and her short tabby coat needs minimal fuss.
