Bubbles is still waiting for her chance at a real home. She was one of the 27 dogs rescued during the polar vortex, brought to safety after enduring the freezing conditions outside. While many of the others have moved on to homes, Bubbles somehow remains at the shelter, still waiting for someone to choose her. After everything she has been through, she deserves a couch, not concrete. Bubbles is an Akita mix with the personality of an overgrown puppy in the best possible way. She is goofy, affectionate, and full of joyful energy. She loves being close to people and is known for leaning into big hugs and greeting her humans with enthusiasm. She can be a little stubborn at times, but it’s all part of her playful charm. Despite her puppy-like excitement, Bubbles has shown herself to be kind and social with other dogs and has never displayed aggression. She is also great with kids and would thrive in an active home where she can play, explore, and be included in daily life. Her playful, silly personality makes her a favorite among shelter staff and volunteers. Bubbles is the kind of dog who brings laughter, affection, and warmth wherever she goes.
