About three years old, Lady is deeply people-oriented and happiest when she can be close to her humans. She loves being included in everyday life and will gladly follow you from room to room just to keep you company. At the end of the day, one of her favorite places to be is curled up in bed with her people, enjoying quiet snuggles and feeling part of the family. She is playful, full of personality, and brings a lively, joyful energy into the home. Lady is potty trained, crate trained when needed, and handles her medication like a champion. She is currently heartworm positive and in the middle of treatment, but all of her medical care will be covered by the rescue until she tests negative. She is gentle and friendly with people, though she may get a little jumpy when excited simply because she is so happy to see you. At this time, Lady would do best as the only pet in the home while she continues building confidence. She has not shown comfort around other dogs yet and will thrive in an environment where she can feel secure and focus on bonding with her people.
