Bongo is an 8 months old terrier and is a very laid back little guy. He is doing super well with potty training, with no accidents in the first several days. He doesn’t love the kennel, but has tolerated it well for a few hours when I’m away from the house. We are working on it overnight as he much prefers to sleep in his bed. Bongo truly loves other dogs and plays so nicely, taking cues and loving to chase and play tug of war with them. He doesn’t resource guard toys, food, or people. He would do well with another dog, and although he hasn’t been around children, he seems like he would enjoy playing with kids as well. He hasn’t done a lot of barking, seeming to ignore outside noises. He needs exercise and chew toys to keep him from puppy chewing, but responds to a firm NO if he picks up a shoe or engages in other inappropriate behavior. A fenced yard would be a plus. He hasn’t been on a leash much yet, and rides in the car well, especially on a lap. He’s good around people, asking for scratches and touch in a gentle way. Bongo is definitely ready for a forever home where he can gain confidence in a loving family.
