About Enzo

Enzo has been waiting patiently for his chance at a forever home. At just over a year and a half old and weighing about 17 lbs, he’s a small dog with a gentle, resilient spirit. All of his siblings have been adopted, but Enzo and his brother are still holding out hope. Enzo’s past has made him wary—he’s timid and can be fearful around new people, and when he feels threatened or overwhelmed, he might snap out of fear. This isn’t true aggression, just a protective response rooted in fear, and with time, his trust grows steadily. Enzo will need an experienced adopter who understands the subtleties of shy or fearful dogs and can move at his pace. A calm, structured environment suits him best, and he isn’t suited for households with young children. Once he feels safe, Enzo’s affectionate nature shines—he loves gently and is fiercely loyal. He’s dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and making progress with his potty training. He’s small, has a short coat, and his brindle coloring gives him a distinctive look. Vaccinations are current, and he’s neutered, microchipped, and ready for a new start. Enzo is in Palm Desert, CA. Every brave dog deserves a home that can see past their fears.
