Meet Momma Cherry – A Gentle Soul Waiting for Her Happy Ending Momma Cherry has been patiently waiting for her forever home for over a year, and we truly believe she deserves the beautiful ending she’s been hoping for. Cherry is a 4.5-year-old, 17 lb Chihuahua mix who is: Fully vetted : Vaccinated Dewormed Microchiped Spayed Flea and tick prevention Healthy and ready for adoption Cherry’s story began in a rural area of Mexicali, Mexico, where she was found struggling to survive, accompanied by her three older puppies and later six newborn babies. She was very hungry and sick with ehrlichia. Cherry and her puppies were immediately taken to a veterinarian, where they received the care they desperately needed, and were then placed in a loving foster home. Her puppies have all grown, and most have found their forever families. Now, it’s Cherry’s turn to be chosen. About Cherry: Cherry is a sweet, gentle, calm, and affectionate girl. She is easygoing, obedient, and well-behaved. Because of her past, she can be shy and fearful in new environments and around new people, and she needs a little time to build trust. Once she feels safe, her loving and loyal personality truly shines. She would thrive in a patient, understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell and feel secure.
