River #22 is a 1 year-old purebred chocolate Labrador Retriever weighing 45 lbs and still growing. She is expected to mature around 55–60 lbs of gorgeous chocolate sweetness. River is truly beautiful inside and out. She is eager to please and wants nothing more than to be part of a loving family—sleeping indoors, curling up on a cozy dog bed, and finally experiencing life beyond a pen. River is a quick learner and just needs a bit of leash training to help her shine even more. River would do well with older children, as she has not been around toddlers or very young kids. A fenced yard would be ideal so she can safely enjoy the freedom to run, play, and explore. River is ready to give her whole heart to the right family—could that be you? All adopters must pay their Labs4rescue adoption fee prior to the rescue shipping their dog.
