River is still waiting for his happy ending. ❤️ River is about 4 years old and is an incredibly sweet gentle loving boy. River originally came to us with his sister, Gracie, after the two of them were brought to a police station in a neighboring city. They had been living in a hoarding situation where their previous owner had far too many dogs and couldn’t properly care for them. Both River and Gracie were scheduled to be euthanized if they didn’t find placement in time. Thankfully we were able to step in and give them a chance at a better life. Gracie has since found her forever home, and while we are so happy for her, River is still patiently waiting for his turn. River would do best in a home without cats. We believe he would do great with another female dog in the home with the proper introductions of course. River loves kids!! After everything he’s been through, River deserves a family who will love him and show him what a safe, happy home truly feels like. Please help us find River the forever home he’s been waiting for. 🐾
