Mittens is a 2-year-old Samoyed mix weighing about 41 pounds, with an incredibly gentle nature and a calm, thoughtful presence. She's clearly very smart and adjusted to apartment life almost immediately - within just a few hours she had already settled in, and by evening she was peacefully napping and dreaming on the floor as if she had always been there. She's wonderful with people and has been friendly, affectionate, and easygoing with everyone she's met so far. Mittens has a soft, steady energy that makes her a lovely companion to be around, and she seems to take new experiences in stride with quiet confidence.
