About Kona
This gorgeous Husky girl is Kona! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 3/8, and no one has come to reclaim her. She is now keeping her paws crossed for a new, forever home where she will be loved and kept safe so that she never ends up back in the shelter. We're not sure if Kona knows any commands because she was too busy playing and having fun during her initial meeting with the volunteers! Huskies are a working breed, so she'll need lots of physical and mental stimulation to be her best self. If you don't create adventures for huskies, they'll go looking for it themselves! Please do a little research on the breed before deciding if a Husky is the right fit for you. Kona is approximately 2 years old, and weighs 40 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Kona is waiting patiently in kennel 90; her ID # is 17458. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
