Welcome to the Court of Queen Faerun! Perched upon her folding chair throne and draped in noble purple finery, this charming royal is ready to greet her subjects... err, possible forever family? Faerun is: mature and calm at five (5) years old fifty (50) lbs of adorable lap dog food-motivated & very gentle taking treats fantastic with kiddos and doles out love relaxed in the car- just snoozes in her crate! On her day out, she was taken to a busy outdoor craft market. While quite the ask for a dog straight out of the shelter, Faerun took it all in stride. She quickly found her place on my lap- who said folding chairs aren’t built for the combined weight of an adult human and full-grown dog?- and spent her afternoon viewing the parade of people walking past the booths... a royal procession for her viewing pleasure, if you will. Everyone who walked by commented on the beautiful dog with the heterochromatic eyes... and then veered over to meet her. As they should! When not draping her body over someone for cuddles, she commanded the chair- see: throne- for herself, inviting visitors to approach and give their respects to the Queen. At one point, a whole crowd of people gathered around Faerun to present her with scratchies and kisses- and she simply soaked it all up. Faerun was incredibly gentle with kiddos, too! One child even ran up with a snack in their hand, but this food-motivated girly didn’t even try to grab it from them. Instead, she seemed to understand their age and gladly allowed them to pet her. After a long afternoon filled with royal duties, Faerun was quick to settle down for a nap on the ride back to the shelter. Simply put... she’s an all-around fantastic pup!
