Hello from Waffles! Hi! My name is Waffles--I'm a cuddly, quirky 9-year-old prince with corgi charm and a heart full of love. I'm working on slimming down from my 42 lbs, and my foster family has seen my personality really blossom! While I'm gentle and affectionate with adults, my corgi herding instincts kick in when small kids are running. I need a home without young children. Teens and adults who understand are a better fit. I do best as the only dog. Early on I was indifferent to other dogs, but lately I've shown I prefer to be the star of the show--no canine competition, please! A passenger prince, I love car rides: window down, breeze in my face, no back-seat driving here! I also coexist with robot vacuums, as long as they respect my bubble--too close, and I let them know who's boss. My leash manners are superb, and walks are a highlight of my day. I love a backyard and will use the bell to let you know when nature calls. When it's time for bed, I sleep through the night in my own space in the bedroom. Here's something important: I really, really love my humans. I would do best in a household where someone is frequently around, works from home, or is willing to take me along on their daily adventures.
