Hi there, my name is Sophie. I am around 8 years old, and am a dachshund mix. I'm a very sweet girl that gets along nicely with other dogs and loves getting attention from people. I love to play with toys and can entertain myself nicely. For the last several years of my life I lived in a home with 2 other small dogs and was very loved, but my mama unfortunately passed away so we found ourselves back in rescue. I miss her very much, but am ready to start writing my next chapter. I havent been tested with kids yet, and lived my life with an elderly woman, so may do better in an adult only quieter home - but the rescue can do some kid testing with me if needed. I would do best in a home where the humans are around quite a bit, and small dog friends would be great too! If you're looking for a smaller companion with a lot of love to give, ask to meet me!
