Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment. I am still learning how to walk on leash, especially in new environments that can be overwhelming. I need verbal encouragement, patience and of course treats from you to help me! I'm a fiend for food! Snacks are a great way to make friends with me and win your way into my heart. New things are a little scary to me, but I all I need is time and someone to show me it's okay. The type of home I'm looking for: I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home. I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted. I need to go to a home without small children. Fast movement and loud noises can be frightening to me. I would do best with calm, dog savvy, teenagers. It could be with you!
