About Louise
Click apply to start the adoption process. Louise is a sweet, 16-week-old chihuahua mix who came to the rescue alongside Thelma, and it's suspected that she's Thelma's daughter. This gentle little girl is very fearful and will thrive in a quiet, patient home with older, calm companion dogs of a similar size to show her the ropes. She truly excels in her house training—an impressive feat at such a young age—and has been spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated (DAPP, Rabies & Bordetella). To ensure her comfort and security, Louise will need a securely fenced, escape-proof yard and calm, friendly companion dogs. A quiet environment that allows her to relax and build confidence over time is a must for this lovely pup. Louise is ready for a loving home that will provide her with the patience and gentle encouragement she needs to blossom. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.

Questions about Louise
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Chihuahua/corgi mixes do well in homes that offer a stable, safe environment, whether it's an apartment or a house. They enjoy being with their family and benefit from a peaceful, nurturing atmosphere.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A securely fenced yard is ideal, but daily walks and playtime are usually sufficient to meet the needs of a small breed mix like this. Supervised outdoor time helps them stay active and stimulated.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Chihuahua and corgi mixes can be suitable for homes with older, respectful children who understand how to be gentle with smaller dogs. Very young children may accidentally overwhelm or startle them.
