Mija is an 8‑year old mixed‑breed sweetheart who has perfected the art of gentle treat taking and cozy snuggles. She adores being close to her people and would happily spend her days curled up beside you or trotting along on a leisurely walk. Don’t let her age fool you. This lovely lady still has plenty of energy for backyard playtime and showing off her favorite toys. She’s a smart cookie, too. Mija knows sit, shake, and even speak, and she’s always eager to show off her manners. She’s housetrained, affectionate, and wonderfully gentle. With her calm nature and loving personality, we think she’d do beautifully in a home with kids. Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough). All dogs adopted must leave with a county license at an additional cost of $21, this fee is cash only. Adoption fees can be done using credit card or cash.
