Meet Cinderella One year old, mixed breed, and fully convinced she’s destined to be someone’s adventure buddy and professional snuggler. She’s a graduate of our prison training program, so she’s got her manners down, knows her commands, and is house‑broken. Her perfect day starts with an active human/humans who want to explore, play fetch, or hit a trail. Add in a dog sibling to zoom around with, and she’s in heaven. But once the fun is over? She’s all about couch time. Cinderella will happily curl up next to you, tuck her paws under her chest, and settle in for a cozy night of TV, ideally something dramatic and binge‑worthy. She’s affectionate, smart, and ready to make someone’s home feel fuller. Approximate Birth Date - 02/13/2025 Size - Large (58lbs) Kids - Cinderella would love kids to romp around with. Other dogs - Cinderella spends time playing with other dogs at our prison program and she really enjoys having a fur friend! Cats - Cinderella would most likely do okay in a home with a feline friend given a proper, slow introduction. House Training - Cinderella is fully house trained! **In Order to adopt an unspayed/unneutered dog from HSMC, You must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "Foster to Adopt" the dog and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the dog back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery** Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough). All dogs adopted must leave with a county license at an additional cost of $21, this fee is cash only. Adoption fees can be done using credit card or cash.
