About Collins

Collins Meet the Chairman of the Chill Department. 3-year-old Yellow Lab mix | professional snuggler | certified good boy with impeccable couch etiquette Some dogs bring chaos. Some dogs bring zoomies. This gentleman brings...peace treaties. His name could very reasonably be Sir Couchington the Third, Patron Saint of Calm Vibes, because this dog has the emotional composure of a yoga instructor who drinks chamomile tea and says things like "let's all take a moment." Kids? He approves. Cats? Also approved. Dogs? Welcome to the coalition. Everyone passes the vibe check. He knows his basic commands, which he performs with the dignified efficiency of a very polite butler. Sit? Done. Stay? Of course. Jumping on people? Absolutely not. The man has standards. Even the household matriarch, a wise 79-year-old human, is firmly within his fan club. He treats her like royalty. Gentle, respectful, sweet. If dogs had resumes, his would simply say: "Excellent with grandmothers." Now let us briefly discuss his resume under the heading "Overcame Some Things, Like a Legend." Collins is heartworm positive but he has started treatment already and Take Paws will complete his treatment. He also had an FHO surgery and recovered with the quiet determination of a dog who refuses to let a plot twist ruin his story arc. Today he's doing great, living his life, and continuing his primary occupation: elite-level cuddling. Because truly, if cuddling were an Olympic sport, this dog would be standing on the podium while the national anthem plays and someone drapes a gold medal around his neck. His favorite activities include: Couch lounging with impressive dedication Loving people with his whole heart Existing in a state of calm so powerful it lowers the blood pressure of nearby mammals He is affectionate without being chaotic. Loving without being clingy. Chill without being boring. In other words, he is the extremely rare dog who manages to be both a total sweetheart and the human equivalent of turning the thermostat to "perfect." If your household could benefit from a loyal companion, a certified cuddle technician, and a dog whose entire personality says "we're going to be okay," then congratulations. You have just discovered him. And frankly... the real ones already know.
