Meet Scrappy – a handsome 2-year-old boy who is looking for the forever home he truly deserves. More than anything, Scrappy wants a place where he can feel safe, loved, and accepted. Scrappy’s story began with hardship. He was found neglected and abused before a kind Good Samaritan stepped in to save him. She reached out to our rescue so we could help find him the loving home he has always deserved. Scrappy can be a little nervous when meeting new people, which is completely understandable after everything he has been through. The good news is that he warms up quickly, and once he does, his sweet and gentle personality shines through. He is truly as kind as can be and wouldn’t hurt a fly. Scrappy would do best in a calm, laid-back home where he can relax, feel secure, and build trust with his people. He is a wonderful companion who simply wants to be near his person and enjoy a peaceful life filled with kindness and love. Scrappy is looking for either a foster-to-adopt home or a committed adopter who will give him the stability and care he deserves. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked, and has tested negative for both heartworm and Lyme disease.
