About Fluoresce
I came to OCAS as a stray, so my history is mostly a mystery. I did very well for my intake process. I'm friendly, and I want to snuggle and jump up on people for pets. I am treat motivated. All newly adopted pets will need slow, monitored introductions to new people or pets in a home. Visit this page for more information about properly introducing pets. Foster notes on Flo: Flo was so happy to be loved! She wanted to explore and smell everything. Once she settled she was extremely loving and cuddly. She wants to be touching you at all times. Shes very smart and could be easily be trained with food and patience. She loves to give kisses and hugs. Favorite thing: How loving she is! Fluoresce or Flo is smart, friendly, and so loving. I took her to Bolin Creek Trail and many public places. She was bright and alert to her surroundings. She was friendly, curious about everything, and not fearful. She has a lot of energy on walks and keeps a good pace. She thrives on all the praise and positive attention she received on her dog days out. I borrowed a restraining leash from the shelter for the car; she will end up in your lap or out of an open door otherwise. Flo is really special, go check her out! Fluoresce, or Flo, would do well with someone or a family who can take her on long walks. She is smart and could be trained beyond sit by someone who has the skill and time. She is friendly, kind, and social. She would benefit from someone or a family that could include her in their outings - she's not a couch potato and enjoys being in groups and socializing. What a truly wonderful and sweet girl, Fluoresce is. Her future is bright! She is great company for long walks! She is trusting, smart, loving, and fun. I love Fluoresce so much. Flo is absolutely adorable! She looooooves giving kisses and will lick your face at any opportunity. She is super energetic and seems like she would love a family where she could be very active--whether that is running, hiking, hunting, or sports. She also loves to cuddle and is happy to chill with you after exercise. We drove to a hike, and Flo really liked sticking her head out the window and sniffing the air (maybe don't roll the window down too far though). She was good most of the way in the car but after about ten minutes she jumped into my lap while I was driving and would not get off or get back in the backseat...I eventually lured her back with some treats but she will probably need to work on that, or be in a crate/have some kind of barrier! Super sweet girl though she just wants to be as close to you as she can get at all times. She does jump and lick but she is really sweet about it and will get down if you tell her. We went hiking for an hour and a half and she showed no signs of being tired at all! She seemed like she would love to run with someone. I think she would also like going hunting, we saw some deer and she really wanted to chase them and then she treed a squirrel for a minute haha. She is super fun and would be a great companion for someone athletic. She also has a chill side, we went indoors for two or three hours afterwards and after a lot of sniffing around she laid down and cuddled and seemed happy doing that. She also seems to be house trained. She puts her paws on the counter but was respectful of me eating lunch in front of her (sorry Flo). Favorite thing: How happy and loving she is! You can't have a bad day if Flo is around. She is super super sweet and just wants to give you all the love. She is a great adventure buddy and is sure to put a smile on everyone's face! And she is just adorable! Fluoresce Flo makes the best companion! She has lots of energy for long walks and likes to be around people. She will make you laugh.
