Henry was first seen by a sweet woman several months ago wandering around her neighborhood. When she noticed he was getting thinner, she started putting out food for him. When the ice storm hit a few weeks ago, she didn't see him for a few days, and when he showed back up, his leg was broken badly. Thankfully, animal control was able to find him and get him to a rescue for surgery. He was not expected to live through it but came through with flying colors! He is getting better on 3 legs every day! He is happy to sleep and spend time in his crate but prefers the couch so he can lay his head on your lap! Henry is amazingly calm and loving for a dog that lived outside for so long. He is also a fast learner, he knew to stand next to the door to go outside by the second day! He hates bananas but loves sweet potato and peas!
