About Max

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Max is ready to capture your heart with his main character energy! At 14 years old, this Chihuahua mix packs a whole lot of personality—and a truly legendary voice—into his small frame. Max is known for his unique style of 'scream talking', an unforgettable way of expressing his opinions, especially if there's bacon on the line. Bojangles drive-thru workers can attest to his persuasive powers! With the wisdom that comes from age, Max has a few quirks: he’s living with some improving skin issues thanks to medicated baths and quality food, and his quirky hip doesn’t keep him from moving with gusto. Max likely needs a dental soon and currently sports stylish mittens to prevent licking his hot spots (which he totally rocks). Although he may be deaf, he never misses a snack and is always tuned in when food is around. Max is remarkably cooperative with his care, adores being close to his person, and brings a spirited, loving attitude to every moment. Despite a few battle scars, he’s all about love, attitude, and plenty of bacon-fueled zest for life. By the way, since Max was born October 1, he’s a Libra—a sign known for charming everyone they meet. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
