He is fine with dogs but as with most Hound cats are not safe around him. He's a Hound after all.... Look at his great ears!!! Buddy came to to the shelter as a stray. He had a temporary foster home until the shelter had space so we know he is good with small kids (2- year old) and dogs (GSD). Buddy did great with both of them and he is currently sharing a kennel with a male dog. Buddy is very smart and knows "sit," "paw," "down," "high five," and is beyond gentle with taking treats. Thankfully, a foster mom raised her hand to help Buddy because he was on the list to be killed because of the number of animals that keep flowing into the shelter.
