Meet Spice — a truly special girl with a heart as beautiful as her markings. Spice is a gorgeous, healthy tortoiseshell with a stunning orange stripe running right down her pretty nose. She is what’s lovingly known as a “Wobbly Kitty”, meaning she has Cerebellar Hypoplasia. Despite this, Spice walks very well and lives a full, happy life. When she feels nervous or unsure, her wobble can become more noticeable, but it does not cause her pain, and it will not progress over time. Aside from her unique walk, she is just like any other cat. Spice can be held and cuddled, though she is a bit more guarded than her sister, Sugar. She takes comfort in familiar faces and routines and relies on other cats for extra confidence and reassurance. So a home with another cat would be best. Spice has not been exposed to children or dogs, so her reaction to them is unknown. She has been fostered with other cats and get along well, showing that Spice is social and accepting with feline friends. During foster care, she has shown a clear preference for a calm, quiet environment where she can feel secure. Spice is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to thrive at her own pace. If you believe that a little wobble just makes a cat more endearing, Spice may be the perfect addition to your family. We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file.  For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters. Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel.
