Meet Posey Posey is a 5 year old Cocker Spaniel. A smart, loving girl who clearly had some training before coming to us. She is fully potty trained and will even bark to let you know when she needs to go out. Tell her “go potty,” and she’ll happily do her business. She also knows sit, shake, go to your bed, and sit/stay. Posey loves walks, does well on leash, and ignores barking dogs along the way. Her favorite thing in the world, though, is people. She absolutely adores kids and loves meeting new friends. She is playful and loves squeaky toys and fetch, but she is also a big snuggle bug who’s happy to curl up in your lap. Posey is fine with cats, but she would likely do best as the ONLY DOG so she can soak up all the attention. She did come to us with severe untreated ear infections, so bad that surgery was almost needed. Thankfully, with proper care and a prescription diet, her ears are now healthy. She WILL need to stay on this special preacription diet for life to prevent future infections.
