Her owner loved her but felt they weren't the right home for what she needed.. Edie is wonderful younger dog who loves to play. She is house trained, knows how to sit, rides well in the car, uses the doggy door, and sleeps well in the big bed. She has the best time playing with her foster sisters, running around the backyard, going on walks, and playing with other dogs at daycare. Edie needs at least one dog that will play with her frequently, a backyard to run around, and people that will enjoy having her in their laps. She is smart, eager to please, and loving. Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won't permit having a dog? How about being a sponsor or making a donation. Every one of our dachshunds receives excellent medical care along with day to day food, love and housing. Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
