Email: ddrtxinfo@gmail.com Primary Website: www.DDRTX.org GiGi is about 9 year sold and weighs around 18 pounds. She came to the rescue after her owner passed away, through no fault of her own. She’s adjusting well and is ready to find her next loving home. She’s very affectionate and truly loves her person. GiGi will follow you everywhere and just wants to be close. She doesn’t love being alone for long periods and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. GiGi is great with other dogs and enjoys their company. She’s more shy around kids, but she is not aggressive - just a little sensitive and prefers calm interactions. One of her cutest features is that she has no teeth in the front, so sometimes her little tongue sticks out - it’s absolutely adorable. She also loves to sunbathe and will happily nap in a warm sunny spot. At night, she’s a big fan of sleeping in the big bed right next to her human. She’s currently being treated for a skin allergy and is doing well with care. GiGi is a sweet, loyal companion who would thrive in a calm home where she can be loved and included in daily life. Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
